| *Will Activate Poll At Appropriate Time*
Rather then disapoint people with no replies, we'll make a poll and gather ideas for RP themes that we'd all agree on.
My Ideas:
Sci-Fi (Contemporary, i.e. Star Wars/Star Trek-type.)
Sci-Fi (Advanced Aerospace; i.e. my kind. Not terribly different then Contemporary, and most of the physics differences are overlooked and purely for the looks- notiably, engines aren't always on, not every ship can sport open fires when hit, and a small change in how weapons work- lasers are best against shields, and cannons are best against the ship itself. Very simple but engaging.)
Open-Ended (We discuss a start point and let it go from there. I'd like to see this be semi-serious, not entirely comedy, but more along the lines of Lucky Star, i.e. written about daily stuff, within a loose let of realistic constraints, but doing stuff like in SOS Brigade is acceptable in moderdation.)
Another example of OE that I did was we got a bunch of people together, and the setting was a small resturaunt. There was no real plot or anything, we just started off and let time do its thing. Granted, this one did have a shady atmosphere, so it was far easier to get things going into a crazy jumble, but it was still fun. (Although we all waited at our seats for two weeks before someone finally ranted that we were doing nothing. I at least said I was waiting for someone. Course that could just compound the problem by the lazier people just waiting for me to introduce this person, which I actually had no intention of doing. I just wanted to foster a mysterous look. xD What with a guy in a black trench coat sitting down at a corner booth and immediately placing an Uzi on the table. That just wasn't enough. I needed a reason to have a loaded Uzi sitting in the open. Then again, maybe that was why half a dozen cops barged into the place in the third week. I still feel sorry for mowing them down. Because my character had to do some work, not because I felt bad for the cops. It's generally a stupid idea to walk up to a guy with a loaded gun within a moment's grasp.)
So if we make an OE RP, we could just stick everyone in a bar or someplace, and see what happens.

| An example of how I would setup an RP that I've run on other forums: (This is an altered version I've been writing since I logged in today.) Traditional Opening: - Spoiler:
Project Shattered Skies: Roleplay Adaption
Background: It has been four hundred years since the events of One Man War. EX1 has been killed, and his plan of re-eradicating the 1st Generation BioAndroids has been stopped. However, his Zero Generation BioAndroids are still at large, and still wrecking havoc around the universe. Snpr Mk.VII and SWATS have decided to put an end to the Zero threat once and for all, and have enlisted the help of anyone who wishes to combat the threat alongside them and the DHO.
Opening: Above Rommallian Major, deep within IBAE territory, the 53rd Navy’s new 3rd Volunteer Hunter-Legion consolidates its forces for the push into R. Minor, where a sizeable force of Zero Navy vessels has dug in. The 3rd V/HL and SWATS are backed by the 753rd Navy’s 18th Support Division, 6th Bombardment Squadron, one of their few combat divisions and arguably one of the best long-range support divisions of any aerospace navy. The 6th Bombardment primarily operates Victor-class Hunter-Killer Artillery units, but also sports a handful of their Kilo-class variants, which sport missile launchers and a defensive CIWS system.
What started out as a simple explination of terms, but ended up being a lot more detailed then I intended. Still informative though, for anyone who likes to get into the RP's universe, especially if its like a fanfic RP, where there is the potential to do things outside the RP and still have an effect. (Sometimes even on the next RP or the current RP, I've changed some of my RP's because of new developments in the OMW-Universe.) - Spoiler:
Important Terms: BioAndroid- The most abundant race in the known universe, a product of an experiment on Pure Planet 14 that was thwarted and stolen by an unnamed race of scientists that inhabited present-day BioAndronia, back when it was thriving. The concurrent industrial rush causes a total collapse of the planet’s ecosystem, and turned it into a slowly-decaying hazy brown ball. BioAndronia has started a long process of regeneration, but it will be at least another billion and a half years before the ecosystem is stable enough to survive on the surface outdoors. BioAndroids originated as a bipedal super-soldier on PP14, but was plagued by multiple shortcomings, not the least of which was a lack of a gyro system at least on par with a human’s. The BioAndroid Project was the only example of interference with an autonomus planet’s development being tampered with, and the only other event where a time paradox was averted. (The other being EX1’s death; also the only time that time travel was used out of testing stages- which also brought that project to a close, and strict monitoring on all civilizations in order to prevent abuse from happening.)
A BioAndroid created from BioAndronia is all the same super-soldier from PP14, and more. For the most part, BioAndroids are capable of independent thought, analysis and action, though most BioAndroids in the IBAN or IBAA are monitored. As of Shattered Skies, there are twenty-three different versions of BioAndroids, and as of the latest section of Project N25, there are forty-three. The primary BioAndroid Generations are: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th, 9th, and Prime. 1st Generations are masters-of-all-trades, and Snpr Mk.VII and EX1 fall into this category. Records are sketchy, but about two hundred thousand years after Mk.VII was created, EX1 created the Zeros, and the next year during Operation Windfall, the entire 1st Generation Army was massacred by EX1 and the Zeros. Mk.VII, in an epic clash with EX1 himself, was activated when EX1 triggered his dormant emotional sense and forces EX1 and the Zeros back, and proceeded to resurrect the fallen 1st Gen.’s, renaming them Fallen Firsts. Thus began the history of the DHO.
The 3rd and 4th Gen. BA’s were developed at the same time, with the 3rd intended as political machines designed to infiltrate enemy empires and attempt to destabilize the whole nation by protesting any action against the IBAE. The 4th were developed as a failsafe for the 3rd, designed to go into resisting nations and unleash all hell. However, a freak accident switched the personalities of the two, which resulted in the 3rd becoming a race of aggressive soldiers who could blend into crowds, and the 4th becoming a race of pacifists with doomsday devices inside them. While the IBAE was shocked by this accident, there was no attempts to reverse it as nation after nation began to rapidly appeal to membership inside the IBAE. However, one 4th Gen. suffered an even more freak accident, his entire consiusness being transferred into his 3rd Gen. body. He defected from the IBAA and became known as Mk.42. He was outraged at the whole of the 4th Gen. Situation, and knew he should have been one himself. His personal nemisis is Rckt because he was the only 4th Gen. with an active WMD inside him, and who never took advantage of it. He is also outraged that even though his WMD went with him, it was rendered inert by the transfer, designed to operate only under the exact paramaters the 4th Gen.’s would alone be suspect to. (And only Rckt’s was a defect, being able to operate without restriction; this just pissed Mk.42 off even more.)
The 7th Gen. BA’s are a race of super-snipers, designed to hide away in one place for their entire lives, even to just wait for a freak coincidence where their only target passes their field of view. They are actively discouraged from defecting because of their horrendous bodies, designed equally to aid them in keeping hidden as to make them regret any attempt at defection. Only one 7th Gen. has ever defected, and only after an intense interfaced disussion- more of a death threat then anything- with Mk.VII. He still remains unknown to anyone other then Mk.VII.
The 9th Gen. BA’s are a race designed to operate as mobile, aware optical-based Aerospace Vessel antimissile defense systems. They are incredibly stuck up after released from duty, but only those who leave the Navy entirely shed that skin. These are known as 9th Gen. Masters, 9th Generation BioAndroids who strive to perfect their built-in laser system to operate under the most diverse set of conditions possible. The most famous 9th Gen. is FLKN, a Master who went to PP14 to live in the Antarctic. He is the only 9th Gen. ever to be able to operate his laser system under literally any conditions. He was also sheltered from typical Master life, and as such, when Mk.VII met him, he thought he would defeat what he considered was the last of an obsolete Generation. He was proven very wrong, very fast, and very hard, and joined Mk.VII and the DHO- later joining SWATS- because of this.
Prime Generations: An ambitious project of merging another being with an inert BioAndroid mesh. The project was an abject failure, most of the subjects dying during merging, while those who didn’t typically died soon after, went insane, or became useless. Every subject suffered massive external defects, and the only surviving example of Commander Tank, who is Rckt’s ‘Handler’. (Because Rckt was ‘born’ hating violence, he needed Tank to help in firing his WMD whenever needed.) The left side of Tank’s entire face is a horrible mess, which is constantly eating away at the three-thousand year old human. He is waiting for the one woman- of any race- that actually believes in personality first, and apperances never, but hasn’t had any luck. Rckt’s selfless and caring personality is probably the only thing that keeps him from going completely crazy, but Tank has been the only Prime Gen. for almost 2,900 years, and it gets to him. He’s slowly slipping away, and doing taking up increasingly stranger and dangerous hobbies.
Zero Generation: EX1’s personal BA race, combining the first eight BA races (except 1st.) into one super-race. Because EX1 refused to put in any likeness to the 1st Gen.’s he eradicated, they lack enough of a free will to deviate from orders, and lack the kind of protection from weaknesses that Mk.VII has. (1st Gen.’s were notorious for covering every weakness and elevating their skill in that weakness before even thinking of their strengths. Had the Zero’s been built with that, they would bee much harder to kill or fool.)
IBAE: Imperial BioAndronian Empire; the de faco masters of almost all of the known universe, and a highly militant empire at that. However, after the collapse of BioAndronia’s ecosystem, they decided to control the universe so it would not happen to anyone else. Thus, the Pure Planet designation was had, which designated all of the highly-attractive and naturally prosperous planets for protection. There are over five thousand designated Pure Planets in their territory. They have only ever lost one, Pure Planet 14, to anyone, and strictly speaking, they gave it up to the DHO after they learned their leader was one of their kind and could be trusted with his statement to protect it. (Twenty Pure Planets, not including PP14, are under dual-protection like PP14; however, PP14 is the only Pure Planet to be locally protected by only the DHO. (The IBAN forces are delegated to first-response duty.)
IBAN and IBAA: Imperial BioAndroian Navy and Army. The IBAN is more prestigious then the IBAA, because the Navy received the most R&D money, and was able to churn out huge, deadly vessels long before the IBAA was able. The IBAN is also linked to the prestegeous Aerospace Engineering Divisions, which only increase its prestige. As well, in BioAndronia, Luna and Sol come before Terra, (literally in that order- Moon, Sun, Earth) which shows a clear attraction to space. (Luna comes before Sol not because of male vs female debates, no no; rather, it is part of their history, and the scientists that created them viewed BioAndronia’s sole moon as their source of prosperity and company, and in destroying the ecosystem they feel they have let Luna down, which is why Luna comes before Sol. Sol comes before Terra because the Sol is disappointed that its only ‘child’ is not prospering with the energy it gives it. Terra comes last only because they feel bad for the planet, and know that it would not want them wasting tears over itself and thus get nothing done for it. This hierarchy is reflected in the Iron Sister series of ships, the ISA Luna, Sol and Terra)
SWATS and the DHO: The two divisions that Mk.VII created on his way to find EX1. The DHO contains every member of SWATS, all the Fallen Firsts, and all of the 53rd Flunkies. SWATS stands for “Special Warfare Assault Team Squad” however much that make no grammatical sense. (It used to be SWAT Squad, but the Squad was eventually absorbed. Mainly to avoid conflict with the real-life SWAT in the LAPD.) And is home to only those who Mk.VII met and gathered along his path to find EX1, and only those he got to know personally. (It spans the entire main and EXTEND cast, excluding EX1, Mk.42, etc.) The DHO was the original group. The name originated from the fact that everyone in it was vastly different from the others of their kind (Mk.VII was the only surviving 1st Gen. BA; (EX1 was the first official beta subject, not the first production run subject. As well, he is the only 1st Gen. BA to have two identical eyes.) Rckt was the only 4th Gen. BA to have an active WMD, FLKN was the most unique Master, Don G. MOMC was a midget Giovannian, a race of giants. (Originally, he was just a movie director, named only ‘The Director’, and was huge for no explicable reason.) Blaze was unique in just being himself (a perpetually drunk man with an insatiable appetite for sexual activity of literally any kind) and Demon was, of course, an invisible man) And One Man War used to be depicted in part of an old grade-school ‘nutrition break’ (bastardized recess) thing I did with my friends, which was run much like .Hack//. (DHO= Dot Hack Outcasts) To avoid the blatant copyright issues in the event I ever published the One Man War Saga, the group was simply named The Outcasts during the events of One Man War, and the origin of the name DHO was never to be explained in any of the other series. (Except in some blurb in some book about myself. I’d probably say it was the original name when OMW was in comic format, and that it is up to the reader whether the DHO in the official series is the same or not. Works double time by basicially saying that it is the official name, but avoiding a lawsuit at the same time. Although .Hack// will probably be a memory by the time I ever publish the OMW Saga.)
And again, another overblown intention. I intended to wrap up with an explination on how I governed editing of ships (because not everyone can get it within the unwriteable limits the first time) until I realised that- oh crap, there is so much that I could freak people out with if I didn't tell and show them that I don't mean this or that personally. This RP, whether or not we go with it's theme, is still relevant- I am indeed still looking for people to come up with ship ideas. I can get the link to anyone who is interested and doesn't way to search for the piece themselves on DeviantART, or if your name is Dixon. (OH SNAP BROSKI.) If you can't view it, please tell me. I don't remember exactly what I've put a content filter on and what I haven't, and you need an account to view a filtered piece, and one that is 18+ for a mature filter piece. (Caution Filteres let anyone view 'em, so long as they are okay with what the content is warning about. It lets people still write or draw mature/potentially offensive content that doesn't really need to be fully blocked, but still make sure that kids aren't browsing aimlessly. (Take SWAT for example. it's PG13 but it has one occasion where Gamble screams "FUCK SWAT" to Street. Given the context of the incident, there was no other word to convey the same meaning, but not every parent censors everything. I've watched uncensored comedy with my parents since I was twelve at least. As for art, it could be a fully clothed but suggestive posture, or any one of the ways to make a naked character fall under an OT 16+ rating for manga. Not something you'd want a kid to just stumble upon without the opportunity for a parent to catch the accident before it blows up in their face. (You have no idea how silent parents can be walking down stairs, or how much attention you can have on what you're doing. It really sucks when someone sends you a link to what think is a cool artwork, but it isn't filtered and the title sure as hell doesn't give it away, only to have a parent stumble upon it before you can do anything. And they ALWAYS get the wrong idea.) - Spoiler:
Alright that lasted for quite a while. Thank god for spoiler tags. Anyways, all you really need to know now is that you need to make a character, and a ship. The guide for designing a ship can be found on my DeviantART page, Project-N25, under the name ‘SSBP-2 Shipbuilding Guideline’ it’s nine pages long, but you can wing it and probably get it authentic enough in the first two tries. (It’s essential you at least know to include the counterpart to any custom weapons or shields, so I know how to gauge power. It’s not that complicated, and it’s nothing you need to understand in full to still make a good ship. Don’t bother trying to explain how your ship is super-maneuverable, that gets done automaticially as a balance feature, because there is no correleation between size of ship and armament size, so minor effects like maneuverability are adjusted for balance. Don’t worry about it. I’m just a super-serious shipbuilder and like to know everything I can about a ship.)
Things about my editing of ships: It’s hard to put down in words how I judge a ship. While it may seem that I go overboard with the armaments on my own, I do have criteria, and on occasion, its precise, actually using specific measurememts to find out maximum armament. (Other times, like the SwarmCarrier, I just wing it, knowing what its broadside would look like but having no good range of weapons. For sure, Laser Guns are tiny, and I sure as hell could fit more then three million on one, even on one SIDE.) Don’t feel discouraged about any edits- I don’t do it because I don’t like it (most times I keep the original design as well as the official one, to see if I can keep a much of it as I can, because it would take weeks to effect a true edit, while an RP edit has to be done in appropriate time so people don’t abandon it.)
If it’s something like my two Xbox Live friends churn out, of course it’s going to get blasted to pieces during the edit. Shit like 100% organic, supershielded gigantic ships are totally inappropriate, and I could go on a friggin’ rant as to how many physics points it breaks. I realize that going past my invisible lines can be easy, but I don’t bite on newbies, especially newbies to the whole concept of sci-fi. They usually have ideas of huge ships of grand scale, which unfortunately can’t be handed out like candy in the One Man War Universe. (Because it is a solid fact that the IBAE is the master of the universe. There is little anyone else can do to beat them back, and even if they can take over some border territories, even a good leap into them, they will always be beaten back. It is a sheer fact that the defense network is so vast that it is literally impossible for a huge dreadnought-like super ship to sneak in, and it’s suicide to try to make a push.) For refrence, ships are typically large, most of them being easily described as being a capital ship, but the upper end of size restrictions for newcomers is about 5-6 kilometers in any direction. Also, in practice many ships enter atmosphere, so don’t make it a huge bloody box. A goddamn Borg Cube might be able to enter atmosphere, but it sure as shit isn’t coming out. (At least not without the captain being an immoral bastard who doesn’t care if the whole population dies. Which all of the members of the 53rd are not. Some have tried, but fratricide (shooting an ally) is by no means unheard of. Immoral forces are usually last-ditch, and irradiating a planet is typically frowned upon.)
Superweapons aren’t restricted, but they aren’t something to take lightly either. The one main problem is physical shear- in space, a muzzle brake like on an artillery piece is more or less useless, because the ship itself is not grounded against anything to transfer the momentum into. If you want you can load up a superweapon, but it is essential that you describe it so I can see if it is possible on the current ship, or if there needs to be fixes. (The main one is people forgetting to put in counter-engines for large guns. Without a counter-engine, you get one shot before you have to reset the sights because you’re going to go flying backwards. And trying to fire while in high forward velocity is usually too hard so that is usually rejected as a lazy fix. Counter-engines aren’t that hard to add in, and from what I’ve seen, people usually overdo it. Just make it as best as you can guess, and I can help fix it later.)
If you can’t draw your ship, be as descriptive as possible. Let everyone read the blueprint and imagine what it looks like. You can go down into fine detail if you wish, I do from time to time, and it isn’t all essential detail. (I’ve usually added in the top bridge for the SwarmCarrier, something I almost never talk about in an RP or story) Basically, we want to know what your ship’s shape is so we could imagine it, carve it out of a block of wood with basic skill, and have it be a close match. Describe its contours, and the positioning of its engines and weapons, and that’s about all you need. Further detail is up to you, unless there’s something I’m wondering about. (Describing engines can get really repetitive, but don’t fret- I do it myself, and I know how stupid it sounds when you read it out loud. That’s completely fine- appreciated, actually. You can’t fancy up where your engines are, so when you read that, you get all the info you need and want. This[/these] engine[s], in this [and this and this] spot. Repeat. All there is too it. If you have four engines equally far apart from one another, and it looks like a square, then dammit, say its arranged in a square shape. That tells you so much.)
The only somewhat-difficult part of engine placements is remembering in space, an engine does not ‘just’ push forward like on an airplane- you have to make sure they just push forward. For an example, look at a Star Destroyer from Star Wars. If you delete the tower, you get a perfectly symmetrical design, verticially and horizontally. With three engines, it has one in the middle and two on either side, which means that overall, its thrust is pointing forward. Now look at a TIE Fighter. It’s two engines are low on the cockpit. That would make it spin around verticially forever. (Unless they were directional thrust, which is always assumed on small craft like fighters, because it would be a hassle to try to balance out engines on a beautiful design. Typically, trying to do that just makes it look dumb. If you have an awesome design that isn’t symmertrical, and you want your engines right here and here and here, but it would cause it to fly in circles, go for it. I assume they can adjust themselves to correct for all the fancy physics of spaceflight, so you don’t have to. Let your imagination take charge.)
There are many details people add in that aren’t required. If you feel that this or that detail is unnessesary, tell your mind to screw itself, and leave it in there. I’ve only had to ask one person to remove details for readability reasons, and really, he’s my friend so it’s all good. (because my own things are typically hard to wrap your head around because there is so much I can’t write down, I’m pretty lienient with other people. And for the most part I can deduce functions and stuff written by others because sometimes you think of things and just write without putting things in proper places. I do it myself, so I’m adapted to it.)
In closing, don’t feel intimidated. Everything might feel clausterphobic, but all that is truly needed is a functional design with comparisons to my generic set of weapons and shields. The rest can be done later, and if not, by myself if I decide to adapt the ship for my own purposes. (Which I do frequently because I’m adapted to huge designs with meticulous detail to weapon loadouts and placings. For me, shipbuilding is more then ‘just’ a hobby, its something I take seriously. I do often try to force that on others, but I’m a lot looser now, because I realize how confusing I can be. I can’t draw any of my things, so I have to be as detailed as I possibly can be so I can look back at the page a year later and remember how it looked. Because I’m adapted to huge designs it feels weird to make a smaller one, because I feel it’s useless. My doctorine for shipbuilding is self-sufficient ships, able to fend for themselves alone or in very small numbers. It just seems alien to me to make a ship that will be mass-produced because it has to be, not because it lets me replace any that happen to fall in combat. I’m so far away from small craft that I still haven’t designed the fighters, bombers and other small craft for the SwarmCarrier. I always try to cram too much on a tiny design, and when I make something that I’d expect someone else to make, it just feels wrong. I don’t make quaint little, respectable, solid, general-use fighters, I make experimental, advanced, psychologicially damaging, multi-use behemoths. (The SwarmCarrier started as just a dedicated carrier out of a huge tanker. Then it got what I call ‘quaint armament’ which is a token armament meant to fend off a few small enemies, usually used against fleeing crafts because they don’t bother with the ship, and only get targeted at the end, just a single snapshot if anything. Then I had the idea of giving it a purpose rather then just be a huge grey rectangle that spat fighters for hours. It didn’t seem complete. Then I got the dumb idea to strap a huge cannon half its size but just as long to it. All hell broke loose after that. The thing’s got two versions of the contemporary design, and over the course of five years has seen the addition of over twenty new defensive weapon systems, ranging from a last-ditch cluster bomb to reviving the Flak-88 from World War II and slapping it on there, to making it capable of holding a hefty amount of the most destructive missile known to any nation. It may be an obsession, but it’s a goddamn FUN one. With few downsides.)
I highly recommend closing one spoiler before opening another if your computer is slow, and just because it's longish. You still need your scrolling finger to one-up strangers, yo. (You have no idea how true that is.)

D&D isn't easily done on a forum, especially a semi-active one such as ours. A typical Forum RP doesn't incorporate die rolls or damages, but rather operates on the players acting farily as they battle enemies they typically generate themselves. (A good RP does not need an RP Master, as the players will quickly get into the edge and be able to read the mind of the original writer with a good degree of accuracy. Which is basicially saying you have a themed RP that just evolved into a themed open-ended RP where everyone knows what to do, and the RP master rarely has to intervene.) I'm pretty sure that forum RP's evolved from something like D&D, though, because they are played in the same general fashion- a storyline, characters, and a buttload of enemies. Just without all the hassle of numbers, and lasting as long as the thread lasts. (Plus without numbers you're only limited to the number of RP's you can keep track of in your head.) This is why I decided against making the Roleplay Sheets enabled on the forum, because with Written RP's, it would be useless. (because really, if you hit someone with a goddamn fireball you expect them to die because of the overpressure- just like how a point-blank shot with a flamethrower will literally cause a human to explode. And you can't take a fireball to the gut and just shake it off. Even if you did survive it you're gonna be in pain, regardless of HP. xD) But Fantasy will be added to da list. (lol I left that one for someone else cuz I could have listed off everything, but I wanted to see what people are interested in themselves so I didn't have to write up multiple selections that didn't have a hope in hell of being voted for. XD) The only quarrel I have with your post is I hope to hell you really meant like LOTR. I really hate being stuck using premade characters in fantasy RP's. IMHO scratch creation is much better.

| Hmm, well... I'm not too sure if I will be doing this role-playing thing, BUT, an open-ended or fantasy thing sounds pretty cool. | |

| Ahhh so this is my idea for the roleplay (which I accidentally sent the preview of to Moni for whatever reason O3o I swore I hit reply button but newp...hit message Moni button. Yes I'm an idiot hush XD).
So as I told Moni this plot pretty much involves modern fantasy, passion, government agencies, corruption, school settings, etc. etc. very interesting stuff I hope that will also appeal to everyone (the plot, in my opinion, is rather flexible and allows for character growth and creativity). This is also based on a plot for one of the series novels I'm writing called Seedlings. Very fascinating stuff XD
The Back Story
A long time ago people such as you and I faced a time where the world was not right. What was called a monarchy was pure anarchy. Citizens young and old, men and women, all were subjected to fear, violence and hatred. They were the damned, those who strayed and ultimately denying the existance of their lords. Darkness overcame them, blessing them with devil's magic. These were the witches, and they all burned to the ground...or so we thought...
Extracted from the root of a tree the gene known as the Seed has been studied a great deal in secret. It is said to be the root of this devil magic. In secret this gene had been manipulated and molded to be used for destruction. This destruction brought about the generations to come...the Seedlings.
You are the fruit of this gene manipulation. You are a Seedling. On the outside you look pretty normal. The gene has caused some weird deformities such as feral parts (animal ears, gills, metallic claws, charred skin, etc.) but you look like a human being. However, you are not. Deep within you, pulsing through your veins is this devil's magic. It takes on many forms such as shapeshifting, pyrokinesis, telekinesis, etc. The possibilities are essentially endless.
However, currently there is no use for you. The war which you were created for as come to a stand still. For now you've been locked within the confinements of a boarding school with your own kind. Your family, friends, all of it has been left behind, leaving you trapped in Silenci Infern, a boarding school for 'witches'.
Key Terms:
Seed: The gene which has been developed by scientists, giving unborn children supernatural abilities. These powers can be anything within respectable limits. Free reign just no ultimates XD That was a given though.
Seedling: The children which have been 'blessed' with the Seed gene. These are not the generic type of witches which wave wands and dance around in black dresses (aka Harry Potter) but vary in terms of power and personality.
Witch: The originals which possessed the devil's magic. It's often used as a word to insult Seedling.
Settings:
Society: The world which these kids have never known. I'm thinking more like of a Toronto or New York styled city. Very grey, polluted, populated and corrupted.
Silenci Infern: Translated into english as Silent Hell. This bording school is essentially a school removed from main stream society, creating it's own mini society. This school was meant to be inescapable and is even considered a prison to some. Do not let it's old english style castle appeal with valiant court yard and high class air fool you. It's where the damned must live.
Basic Plot Outline:
1. Students coping with life that is not of main stream society. 2. Something triggers us to want to rebel and escape 3. After escaping a hunt begins to perhaps either eliminate all Seedlings or return them to the school
Note** I've left this plot extremely basic because I wanted interactions between students to ultimately decide what will happen to them. It's like whatever feels like will happen will happen. As I said, flexible~
Types of Characters Needed:
Seedlings: Without them I think we'd be pretty much without a roleplay here. As I've mentioned before powers vary considering on what people want. Some characters from my novel (which actually doesn't follow this plot at all but something completely different) manipulate fire, change into a cat, mind read, conduct electricty without metal, etc. etc. The possibilities are endless but please refrain from characters who seem godly or immortal cause technically they are still human and flawed, just humans on supernatural steroids XD
P.s. for the sake of the roleplay have characters like age 15+ It just saves us the lack of maturity.
Teachers: These can be easily discarded once we no longer need them. These people will are powerless but have ways of controlling the Seedlings. Once again up to you.
Agents/Hunts: Those who hunt down the Seedlings if they plan on escaping Silenci Infern. These people vary and age and are employed by the government. These people could even be Seedlings turned against their own kind. In one part of my novel an emotionless 'robotic natured' girl is indeed a Seedling and has been so brain washed she hunts her own kind without realizing it. They are meant to be overpowering but don't make them immortal XD
I think that's all my brain can muster right now. I just thought this plot would allow for everyone to have input and be able to work with. Besides, it can allow for some of you manly men to exhibit some passion D8<;;;

| That sounds like a really cool idea. I would really like to try that and create a seedling with lightning power. | |

| Wow! That sounds like a fun idea. I'd love to play a seedling who has telekinesis. Or a clairvoyant! If that would work, lol. I've actually never roleplayed before, but it does look fun! Note to self: get pointers from friend tonight. | |

| Anyone for steampunk? Not nessesarily Victorian Steampunk, but any instance where technology is more advanced then wha tthe surroundings seem to say. (Technically, that's my One Man War Saga. xD Earth in 2039 with huge fleets ftw.) EDIT: Dang, reading that a second time made me attracted to the idea... Even though I don't get to use my OP main character. xD Also: Sweet. A totaly legit reason for having a neko, without having to introduce their whole race. Ooh ooh, can we make more then one? If so I'm totally slapping in my two little nekos from Shattered Skies!

| Well of course we can have more than one character XD I know I'm definately going to pull out a few of my Seedlings from my novels in the making X3 I think I have 3 I really want to introduce: F3AR1355 (Fearless), Lucia and I was going to bring in my own Neko but no way am I going to crush Seven's dreams of having his own Neko girl XD
There will have to be doubling of characters though since I doubt I could play teachers, agents, etc. etc. depending where we take the plot. If we did the whole breaking free and being hunted we'd really have to collaborate~
But thanks <3 I'm glad my idea is so well liked~

(MS Paint ftw.) I've got at least a half a dozen of them. Not counting ones that I didn't make lol, and Nekomimi versions of existing characters. (Like Konata ) Main nekos: Neko-Chan: The wife of Ocean throughout the different Sagas. Originated from an image of a neko in a forest with a flute. (Her primary appearance is in the latest mideval Saga) Nyan: Myan's twin sister; rescued by Ocean from a rather horrible fate during the mission to locate EX1. Outgoing, but gets flustered easily. gets extremly embarrassed, but afterwords acts as if it never happened. Is sort of let down that Myan just can't leave the past in the past, but despite her age, understands. Regardless, her careless nature gets the better of her and she keeps trying to get Myan to forget, usually just making it worse. Myan: Nyan's twin sister; rescued by Ocean from a rather horrible fate during the mission to locate EX1. Incredibly shy and rarely talks, but her few efforts, while not greatly helpful, are enough to keep everyone happy simply because she tried. Most likely smarter then Nyan, just lacks the will to share with people regularly. Other then Nyan, she only talks to Ocean and Rckt, and rarely at that. Mostly Ocean can guess what she wants by her actions or emotions. Myan does get a little annoyed at Nyan for always pestering her, but inside, she appreciates Nyan for trying to help her forget. Would almost be the stereotypical shy kid if she hadn't absorbed a little of Nyan's personality and was prone to talking back (in her own way) and didn't have conviction. (She is frail though.) *Note: Both of these girls are like eight... Yet in Shattered Skies and Project Neko-25, they're both Admirals. (In Shattered Skies Myan piggybacks with Nyan, but in Neko-25 she's shed a lot of her shyness and can adequately command her ship with minor assistance. Is also a hell of a lot more violent when she's 'in the mood', aka, when she's immersed in her battle sense. (Which always freaks the living daylights out of Ahsuna because she's so used to a meek little girl, not an eight year-old in a battle rage.) Also, the smarts really show, because Nyan frequently participates in suicide rushes whenever Myan hasn't been confrencing with her. Nyan's got the devil's luck when that happens though. In one instance, a missile broke though the ship's shield and found the bridge, and Nyan only survived because a minute before, she left the bridge on account of what could only be accounted as a freak hormonal flash- in the middle of a raging charge she literally experenced a hot flash. (Since that would be such an abrupt experence for her, because it's never happened and she's hopped up in an adrenalin rush, it would be quite apparent when it happened. At least she could tell what it was, and decided, luckily, to sit it out elsewhere just in case. Poor old Ensign Bridge-Grade Simon took the brunt of the unluck though. (Why is an Ensign commanding the ship? Well, Nyan is a goddamn eight year old, and not a hugely tactical one. Ocean assigned a replacement because he knew that Nyan couldn't possibly force herself to work at optimum through an extended battle, and sure as hell would be hard pressed to remain so after the enegry died down, and it just-so-happaned that a young applicant to the Navy had a great deal of tactical brilliance, but wasn't able to be accepted in on account of low scores elsewhere. Because it would look very bad to have a flunkee with a high title on a bridge, he was ranked at Ensign, and Bridge-Grade is just a shorthand for an interm bridge commander. Other then that he really serves no purpose, although he is [was lol] a social buddy with Nyan. But he was a boy, and Nyan didn't really care for very long. XD So heartless. Ocean's warfare heartlessness has rubbed off on her, methinks. XD) Yukie: Neko-Chan and Ocean's daughter. PLOT TWIST. Not. Neko-Chan's bilogical daughter, and Ocean's adoptive daughter. (Neko-Chan, too, was rescued from elsewhere. More discovery then rescue, but the fact that he saved her from an otherwise terrible life makes it a rescue.) Like Myan, she's not terribly talkative, but she's not exactly shy. It's more of she just doesn't care about anything except herself and what she is doing at the moment. Doesn't talk to anyone other then Ocean and Neko, and sometimes Myan, although early on Myan was terrified by her because of her 'don't give a crap' aura. Usually wakes herself up without a hitch, shufflles around and does what she does, and then shuffles straight into Ocean's lap, no matter what he's doing, (Unless he's standing or only has one leg available.) and reads. This used to bug Ocean, but after a few times he got used to it and sort of likes it, because at least she's in contact with someone, even if she never utters a word to anyone, even himself. Usually when she talks its in a monotone, but her actual voice is much higher, and sounds more like her image. Even though Myan is used to her, she still can't get used to her popping in whenever and just planting her butt beside her. (Also finds it awkward to do anything when Yukie never talks because Myan is a firm believer in keeping as good an image as possible, and is afraid Yukie will go balistic (against all possible odds) and flame her for 'ignoring' her.) So whenever Yukie drops in, poor old Myan usually ends up doing nothing, too polite to try to read over Yukie's shoulder. Although she never seems to do anything except read and watch videos, she's actually in great shape. And that's just the main three. xD

| Last I checked we had a tie, but now we've got Fantasy as the top voted. Final check: do we want to run both Fant. and O-E at the same time, or just Fantasy? Vote has changed to reflect this question.
