PostSubject: Cellar Door   Wed Oct 13, 2010 2:01 pm

Cellar Door.
In which there is no passage way.
Walls with no windows
For one to lean in
and gaze.

Cellar Door.
Opaque and non-destructive,
Secure and heavily gaurded.
An entrance
Exposed to the surface
But holds the hidden within.

My deepest, truest personailty,
Dominant shades of black and grey,
Only can be seen
on the canvas.
A room surrounded
By solid
and significant objects.
Internal organs,
Fragile glass
From shattered mirrors,
A storage of shelves
Containing bottled tears.
Seemingly empty
But tightly crowded.
Filled with frays, fumbles, and flaws.
Some may say
A broken beauty.

The air is thick with dust.
Fingerprints
Contaminated too much.
Porcelain dolls
and dead skin,
Closets with ghosts
and skeletons.
Now left untouched
and delicate.
Scary fears of sudden death,
Permanent lonely
Deep regrets.
With only one tiny hope
That tries hard to block it-
Cherished, meaningful friendships.

Discarded torn-up pices of heart.
Tragedy that flows in my veins.
Old playgrounds are now graveyards.
An infected soul,
No longer my mind
Contemplates.
Caution and stop signs
On every corner,
Posted.

Abandoned pedestals
Of past love,
Pesky cobwebs; it accumulates.
The part of me held captive
and locked away.
Flat broken strings,
Repressed childhood beads,
Tattered and ripped
Magazines,
A buried castle,
Princesses and crowns
of ancient imagery.

The space and room is
Infinite.
The end wall is impossible to reach.
Trapped.
For all of my eternity.

The only way out...
is through the Cellar Door.
